Commemorative Postmark Cancellation Service Terms And Conditions
- Request for Service
- The organization has to complete the e-form
with correct and complete information and submit to Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau for approval 30 days before the
activity, together with the design of the commemorative postmark and envelope.
- Commemorative Postmark
- The design of postmark must include the following elements: the wording of “澳門 MACAU”, the authorization code
provided by Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau, the theme in Chinese and Portuguese languages, and the date of activity.
- Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau shall retain exclusive rights to the postmark, which will only be used for the
commemorative cancellation service for public, during the period of the temporary Post Counter.
- Commemorative Envelope
- It is the responsibility of the organizer to print the commemorative envelope, which must have the final approval of Macao Post
and Telecommunications Bureau before production.
- The design must include the theme in both Chinese and Portuguese languages and the date of activity printed on the front of the
envelope1) while the authorization code issued from Macao Post and
Telecommunications Bureau must be printed at the back.
- The size of the envelope is 114 x 162mm (C6) 1)Example, 110 x 220mm (DL).

- The commemorative envelope will only be used during the period of the temporary Post Counter.
- Service Fees
- The service fee for official working hours is MOP5,000.00 (five thousand patacas), excepting Saturdays, Sundays and public
holidays.
- An additional service fee will be charged according to the extra working hours if the temporary Post Counter opens in the
unofficial working hours.
- In addition to the face value of the stamp used, the service fee for affixing and canceling the stamp on such commemorative
envelope is MOP1.00 each.
- The service fee must be paid to the Macao Postal Savings within 15 days after the service invoice is issued. If the date of
issue of the service invoice is less than 15 days from the activity day, the service fee must be paid before the commemorative
postmark cancellation service provided.
- Equipment
- 5.1. The organizer should provide at the location at least 2 lockable desks, 2 chairs, ventilation system and free entrance for
public.
- If the organizer requests to cancel the commemorative envelopes before the issue day, he must submit the envelopes to Macao
Post and Telecommunications Bureau 5 working days before the event. The finished products must be picked up at General Post
Office on the activity day.
- Others
- If the organizer requests to cancel the commemorative postmark cancellation service after the application has been approved by
Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau, it must submit a written application to Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau for
approval. In case Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau approves the application, the service is cancelled. Macao Post and
Telecommunications Bureau reserves the final decision.
- In case Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau approved the application of canceling the activity, the organizer must also
pay the service fee (five thousand patacas) and the related fees already produced for the service (Purchase of envelopes and
stamps, and cancellation service) to Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau.
- If the event is cancelled due to typhoon or force majeure, the paid service fee and the related fees already produced will not
be refunded.
- If the event is cancelled, the organizer must destroy the whole quantity of commemorative envelopes within five days, and
submit to Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau a destruction certificate signed by the competent person together with
organization chop.
